For everyone who is not scheduled to be on the beach, major domestic or international vacation, or spending time at home , come on out to the real vacation spot! Comet! haha. We are having another meetup. Hopefully we will have a good turnout. I am looking forward to seeing all of u! And, we are planning for the next Tourney! Yes, it is time to show once again what ya got! The belts are waiting for their next master! This time around, we are aiming to be more organized. We want everyone to participate both men and women. Hey, Once again, we are going to have a great time at Comet Ping Pong. Ping Ponging it all night. But this time, it's tournament time! Currently, I am still working on the brackets. I really appreciate everyones cooperation on this. This kind of thing takes a while to put together. Because everyone was so eager to sign up, we will have to stretch this tourney across two meetups...I assume. I am looking to do another meetup the following Friday-the 17th- to make sure everyone plays. If there has to be a third, that can be done. Also, if you do not want to play in the tournament, there is still room for you to play. Stay posted for more details!!!! ALSO!!!!please try to make it there early. Comet is going to have an event, and more than likely they are going to want to use their space. The event starts at 10. So they are probably clearing the area out around 9ish..... Alright, remember- any questions or suggestions, email me!

Sorry I am not able to publish the tournament tree online. I am very disappointed about that. So I will have to do it the old fashoin way. I will print the tree and fill it out by magic marker-wow. So, we are still set to meet on the 10th @ 7:00. See you there.

Hey all, Ok so the next meetup is scheduled. Most current member are aware that most of the times, they have bands come and take over the space; usually around 9:00 pm. I emailed Comet and here is how they respond:

At this point there is nothing on the schedule. However, that could change at the last minute. Your best bet is to call us the night of to see what is going on. Sorry about last time! Hey all, Mark your calendars now for the first DC ping pong meetup for 2009! This is a great way to meet new people and take your friends to do something a bit different. Be on time right at 7:00 because Comet frequently has bands come in later at night, in which case they pull down the tables at 9:30ish.
