Weekly Pong

From May through the summer (if this time slot works out for the majority) I spoke with the Manager (Dino) and we can use the room from 6 to 9 pm. That way if someone can't make it at 6, it gives a little extra time and I'd also imagine that it likely won't fill up at 9:00 either so anyone could continue play. When you RSVP, please add a comment and let me know about what time you expect to make it...so I can plan accordingly. For those still interested in weekends - please let me know and I could add something to the calendar but you'd need to make the arrangements with Dino and sorta run it in my absence.

This is how we'll run it weekly: one on one games to 21, loser goes out and next player comes in to play winner. Losers or players waiting to play can use the pool tables in the interim, depending on number of attendees we can get one or two pool tables. Winners who take 3 games in a row give the table up to another player.

Each attendee is responsible for their own ping pong fees. Top Hat charges 2.75 per hour per person... so when you arrive, please drop the appropriate fees into 'the hat'...if you stay 2 hours it's about 6 bucks. I will use the money collected in the hat to pay for all at the end of our session...whatever is left will go to meetup.com fees (they charge me 14 a month to be your organizer), and if we exceed that I can pick up some balls for us to use or something. If anyone has a better suggestion for this, please let me know. I'm open to new ideas.

My cell phone is: 443-573-7248. Please don't abuse it people! Call if you need to, and in return I will try to give a head's up if I can't make it one week or another. Top Hat has proven to be an adequate venue, but not the easiest to find...so look for PNC Bank...turn there and it's right behind.
